The FD 8900 combines the rugged strength of the previous shredders with a High-Capacity Output Baler for convenient disposal of shredded material. With the Output Baler, shredded material is continually compacted into a bale, improving throughput capacity by minimizing the frequency of emptying the shredder. Sensors automatically stop the shredding mechanism when the baler is full, and the bale is then ejected into a plastic bag for clean, easy disposal. This model can accommodate a variety of materials including stacks of computer forms, magnetic disks, CDs, cardboard, and entire files up to 500 sheets, at a speed of up to 35 feet per minute. |
